Beholder by Mini Monster Mayhem

Painted up an awesome Beholder miniature designed by Lee Zerafian / Mini Monster Mayhem .  My Viking Warband (miniatures by Mierce Miniatures ) fighting the horrible Beholder! I'll use these mini in Frostgrave.

Expanding the Tyranid Swarm and painted my first Space Marine

After deciding on a colour scheme for my Tyranid army , I've been painting up a lot of bugs. I tried to get them painted fast but would not call it speed painting.  Also, I painted up my first Space Marine, a Chaplain, to make some epic battle shots of him fighting the swarm. Enjoy! Tyranids Lictor Tyranids Hormogaunts Tyranids Swarmlord Hive Tyrant with Wings Tyrannofex If you are curious about the Tyranid miniatures, most of them are 3D printed and have been designed by Artbyhalfpint (check out his Instagram account: https://www.instagram.com/artbyhalfpint /). Space Marines Chaplain The next Tyranid unit to paint are Warriors, a Mawloc, and last but not least Genstealers. I try to get 1.500 points of minis ready to play some games (I hate playing with unpainted minis).

Starting a Tyranid army: Colorscheme

Diving into Warhammer 40K – My First Army Choice I've been a miniature hobbyist for over 10 years , exploring a variety of tabletop games like Warhammer Fantasy, Infinity, Frostgrave, Malifaux, and Kings of War . But my hunger for new experiences in the hobby never fades. Recently, my gaming group convinced me to dive into the deep and awesome lore of Warhammer 40K . After devouring a dozen books—especially the Horus Heresy series —I was completely drawn into the rich, grimdark universe. That’s when I decided it was time to start my first Warhammer 40K army . Choosing Between Slaanesh and Tyranids When picking my first 40K army, I was torn between Emperor’s Children / Slaanesh forces and Tyranids . Both factions have an amazing design and deep, intriguing lore. In the end, I chose Tyranids —not only because they are relatively easy to paint , but also because I wanted to immerse myself deeper into the universe before tackling the intricate conversions required for a Slaanesh forc...

The Sylvaneth of the Cherry Blossom Grove

The Sylvaneth of the Cherry Blossom Grove – A Growing Force The Sylvaneth of the Cherry Blossom Grove are marching to war! Recently, I completed three towering tree spirits —a Treeman Ancient, an ordinary Treeman, and the Spirit of Durthu —bringing my army close to completion. This army has deep roots, dating back to the Old Days of Warhammer , when it was primarily made up of Wood Elves . (Check out my [2014 blog post] for the original army!) Over the years, I have expanded and refined the Cherry Blossom Grove, adding numerous new miniatures while staying true to its original theme. And the journey is far from over! In the coming months and years, I plan to continue expanding the Cherry Blossom Grove , with some exciting additions on the horizon. Alarielle, the Everqueen , will take her rightful place at the heart of the force, and more Kurnoth Hunters will reinforce the ranks. I’m also considering a Living City detachment from the Cities of Sigmar Battletome , blending Sylvane...

Dwarf Slayers vs. angry Giant!

"I am a Dwarf! My honor is my life and without it I am nothing. I shall become a Slayer. ... A Dwarf Slayer is the ultimate Dwarf warrior, the perfect personification of death and destruction, and bringer of doom to the enemies of their race." These awesome slayers are from the Spanish miniature company Yedharo Models . I also really like their orc minis. The big guy is called Mjagnir Jötunn and is produced by Mierce Miniatures . I already did a review of their high-quality miniatures.

Mierce Miniatures Review

I've not done any miniature reviews so far but after purchasing and building some minis of Mierce Miniatures , I had to!  Mierce Miniatures is a company from the UK that produces high-quality polyurethane resin miniatures for their Darklands wargame as well as the BaneLegions miniature range.  S ince Mierce Miniatures entered the market I fell in love with their unique miniature designs and sculpts. In the beginning, I mostly laid my eyes on the epic monsters, like  KRULL ,  MJAGNIR JÖTUNN , and  ANGRISLAUG , as well as the best model in my opinion by Mierce Miniatures, the  Chimaera, the Terror of Fortriu ! The studio paint job of the chimera is done by the amazing Ben Komets whereas my favorite paintjob of the model is done by my Roman Lappat in an epic diorama . The reason why I did not purchase the miniatures in the past was the premium prices of the minis, I guess. Their miniatures are definitely more expensive than other miniature companies out t...
