Infinity Aleph Steel Phalanx army painted in Gold TMM ready to rumble!

It`s been a while since I posted some hobby stuff but I haven`t been lazy. A new Infinity the game army have come into my possession: The Assault Subsection, more commonly known as the Myrmidon Army or “the Steel Phalanx of ALEPH”, was created by the AI as a response to the unstoppable menace of the Combined Army. Commanded by Achilles and forged in the crucible of war, the Steel Phalanx is an unyielding force worthy of the Trojan War’s epic poems. It is a shock force with a focus on brutal direct assaults, and the chief weapon of ALEPH in its personal feud against its fearsome alien counterpart, the EI.

I love Greek mythology and it`s ancient heroes. In my youth, I`ve read about the myths of the heroes of the Trojan War and of Homer's epic poems, the Iliad and the Odyssey. I imagined these ancient Greek warriors as a bright, idealistic and heroic force. That made me very exciting painting and playing the Steel Phalanx of Aleph. What`s even cooler than these ancient heroes? Very simple: the ancient superheroes revived by an artificial intelligence to fight the Combined Army, an alien force attacking the human sphere!

In my mind, these heroes wore bright shiny gold armour and I always wanted to try Gold TMM for a Sci-Fi army. Therefore I went with a TMM Gold and Silver colour scheme and took new directions. I looked for good metallic colours and found the best: The Metal`n`Alchemy Range from Scale75. I really love these colours!

Enough talk, now let`s get to the meat and potatoes, the pics of the golden army of ALEPH: The Steel Phalanx.

The Sylvaneth of the Cherry Blossom Grove

The Sylvaneth of the Cherry Blossom Grove – A Growing Force The Sylvaneth of the Cherry Blossom Grove are marching to war! Recently, I completed three towering tree spirits —a Treeman Ancient, an ordinary Treeman, and the Spirit of Durthu —bringing my army close to completion. This army has deep roots, dating back to the Old Days of Warhammer , when it was primarily made up of Wood Elves . (Check out my [2014 blog post] for the original army!) Over the years, I have expanded and refined the Cherry Blossom Grove, adding numerous new miniatures while staying true to its original theme. And the journey is far from over! In the coming months and years, I plan to continue expanding the Cherry Blossom Grove , with some exciting additions on the horizon. Alarielle, the Everqueen , will take her rightful place at the heart of the force, and more Kurnoth Hunters will reinforce the ranks. I’m also considering a Living City detachment from the Cities of Sigmar Battletome , blending Sylvane...

My Top 10 of the most epic dragon tabletop miniature models!

The Ultimate Top 10 Fantasy Dragon Miniatures for Wargamers and Collectors If you're a fantasy wargamer or miniature enthusiast, chances are you love dragons. These massive, powerful creatures have fascinated me ever since I first delved into fantasy lore and started playing tabletop wargames like Warhammer. However, with so many dragon models available from various manufacturers—and some going out of production—it can be tough to keep track of the best sculpts. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of painting two stunning dragon miniatures: a Forest Dragon by Forgeworld in 2014 and a Zombie Dragon by Games Workshop. As I continue my journey into painting and collecting these mythical beasts, I compiled a list of the top 10 fantasy dragon miniatures that I find truly breathtaking. Before diving into the list, it’s essential to note the distinction between dragons and wyv...
